My boy starts at his Montessori school tomorrow. We had originally hoped he would start sometime in March, so by now it's kind of more of a "FINALLY!" kind of feeling than anything else. I'm so excited for him, because I know he is
so ready for this. So ready to learn everything he will learn, to make friends at school, for all of it. I'm so excited about this school, too, it just blows me away. It's such an amazing place.
The one thing that gives me pause and gives me that Wow This Is Momentous And A Really Really Big Deal is when I realize that this will be the first day of what will be about 15+ years of schooling ahead of him.
I mean, WHOA. And that's not even counting college.
My baby's growing up, and I'm so excited about what's ahead for him.

I am an American man, and I have decided to boycott American women.
