I breastfed both my boys (D for just over a year, Q for just over 3). This is a list of resources and articles that I found really helpful during that time.
RESOURCES:
How to find an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) -- the "gold standard" in lactation help, and the best resource for when you are having issues since they can provide you with hands-on one-on-one help and advice.
KellyMom-- Great resource full of articles, research, and a forum. Definitely a go-to for any breastfeeding mom (or spouse/parent/in-law/other family member of said mom).
Dr Jack Newman-- the videos showing proper latch were incredible help to me when I was trying to figure it all out.
La Leche League-- more great resources for breastfeeding help, find a group in your area to meet with in person.
Breastfeeding Resources for Rookies-- a list of 6 best online breastfeeding resources, put together by Annie from PhD in Parenting and Rookie Moms.
