That 'selfish' trait is what keeps evolution and the propagation of every species on track. The act of *raising* a child however (biological or adopted) does indeed require selflessness. It is HARD at times, and very demanding. Most important thing is to make time to be selfish - make time for yourself, somehow. Every parent needs that to be a better parent.Cherisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18309835002251352483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6568229.post-41398966138302156682008-10-28T20:23:00.000-07:002008-10-28T20:23:00.000-07:00WHERE did Jenny leave her cell phone?!? Tell him it's OK, he'll see his Tante Cristina in a few weeks.

Also, tell him his favorite aunt will be writing about him and Sierra for her Young Writers Program novel, which will be in French. Y'know, so he can read it. Which he can do as it is written, since she'll be blogging her novel (http://mmeforshay.blogspot.com)

All that good news should cheer him up.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
